Briefly……

Tim took up the guitar seriously in the one and only true summer of love (As opposed to the one adopted by the Ibiza boys, who maybe could have come up with their own slogan?). There followed some years of train-spotting obsession...ok about 40 of them, and seems it’s still going on!
Over a long and extremely varied career (some might say ad hoc to the point of frivolity), he has worked as a guitarist with this lot and quite a few others:

Rick Wakeman (also getting the opportunity to record alongside the great, great Chaka Khan on a track)

John Stevens, legendary free jazzer (This one presented opportunities to gig with Phil Collins and play and record a few times with absolute hero John Martyn)

Isaac Guillory - Acoustic guitarist who was another early hero. Tim says he is the first guy he ever saw play with the little finger of his picking hand and has been doing the same cver since. A hugely missed inner circle friend!

As a writer for TV and radio he produced music for adverts (clients such as Cadbury, Green Giant, kelloggs, Marks and Sparks and numerous others), wrote music for hit show Friends and did several channel 4 and 5 and BBC series.

Tim has also done a lot of teaching, including stints at the Guildhall, The RoyalAcademy of Music and ACM.
