I am setting up two guitar workshops. One in Camden in conjunction with Planet Drum, the other in Norwich at Vintage Guitar.co.uk.You can find details on the tuition page.
I’ve also been helping out on records for other people. Slowly but surely I’m adding the guitars on a new CD by Jade Warrior. They were a bit prog rocky in their heyday but have gone heavier and more experimental. There’s even a hint of Miles Davis in there now.
Plus I’ve been playing the guitars on Richard Lamplough’s new CD. He took a lot of the photos on this site and also writes and produces records. A bit Prince meets Pet Shop Boys this one.
Another session has been a track on the upcoming album from Miles Bould, my musical brother and killer groove geezer. The most authentic fusion I’ve heard from anyone in this country, so it’s great to be on it. Scott Kinsey has a presence and there is a whisper of Scott Henderson playing on a track. Very heavyweight company!

Recording of ‘Exposure’, my new album, is about halfway complete though the writing is about 80% done. There has been quite a lot of video editing to do of late with all the other stuff, so I have had an enforced break from it.
Could be that’s just as well, because a bit of distance gives a better perspective on how the whole should feel. Hopefully I will be back to that in earnest in not too long.
